Comes to Stroud with R&R Property
Hi Everyone,
What an amazing transformation of this tired property which despite being a really great family home, we just couldn’t budge because of poor presentation. With mostly paint, flooring, cleaning and plants the property was showcased beautifully and sold immediately afterwards. We are always trying to convey how much difference presentation makes and how it leads to a quick and well priced sale.
Please take the time to present your home beautifully. R & R Property are more than happy to be of service with advice and direction with this. Just give us a call or pop into the office to chat about it.
This is the perfect example of why R & R Property are always pushing the point of “Presentation is Everything”.

As a seller you really have to ask yoursef from the minute the buyers pull up at the street what is their first impression of your home going to be? Is it that the property is attractive, neat & tidy with nothing much for them to do maintenance-wise? Or is the driveway mouldy, dirty, the fence falling down or needing a paint? How’s the letterbox? – Straight, painted and neat?
And don’t even get me started on inside!
The property we have that is receiving a make-over with Foxtels – “Selling Houses Australia” is currently rented out and has been for some years. The home is approximately 30 to 40 years old, very spacious, solid, brick and tile and has had some work done but it does need an update. The general feedback is that the potential is there but our buyers don’t want to do the work.
The irony is that some of the things that you could do that would make a huge difference are quite simple and inexpensive.
We are really excited about the upcoming filming and airing of the episode on TV and can’t wait to see what Shaynna Blaze, Andrew Winter, Charlie Albone and the Selling Houses Australia Team have planned.

We had a load of fun with Selling Houses Australia visiting Stroud. What a lovely crew they were. I have new respect for TV personalities though as it is much harder than it looks when its all said and done.
Many takes for each scene and many, many hours of footage for each one. Then to think it has to be cut and edited down to a 45 min show!
We feel certain that it will showcase Stroud really well though as the crew all said they really loved the area; how vibrant, community based and visually appealing it is.
Andrew Winter was very taken with all the historic buildings we have and the pretty streetcapes. We even snuck him through one of our magnificent old timers “Derrybawn” circa 1905 of which he was delighted.
Shaynna Blaze also remarked on how pretty Stroud was and the fabulous community vibe. The locals were star spotting as they frequented our local shops and spent dollars within our community which was great for the town.
The show aired early in 2016.
